Blake began his musical journey in bands covering rock, classic rock, and popular music,
playing in clubs, concerts, and festivals throughout the Midwest. He quickly incorporated funk,
reggae, jazz, and jam-band music into his growing repertoire, as well as constantly exploring
diverse musical paths.
In Nebula, Blake brings his highly developed skills and chameleon like adaptability to the
forefront, hi-lighting his talents as an arranger and composer. All of Nebulas original music is
co-written and arranged by Blake and Scot.

 Scot jon Schwestka 
Guitars, Vocals
For more than 45 years, Scot has been on an odyssey of musical discovery. As a composer/
performer/educator, Scot’s musical passion and curiosity has led him around the world in his
quest for musical expression. Scot has a lengthy discography of his own music, as a member
of other’s ensembles, and as a featured guest artist. He has played extensively throughout the
United States as well as abroad. While Scot would say his true passion is performing his music
for a live audience, he has served as artist in residence, guest composer, featured lecturer and
faculty with arts organizations, universities, and music-centric corporations around the globe.
His musical curiosity, combined with a life long passion for woodworking has led to his
exploring, designing and building stringed musical instruments for himself, as well as some of
the biggest names in rock, jazz, and pop music.
